BC Cricket Fundraising Event... Free passes to watch the Black Caps

BC Cricket Club has again won the right to supervise the Bay Oval Trust Public Car-park for all the International (and one Domestic fixture) matches this summer at the Bay Oval, against India & Sri Lanka. New T20 Midweek Cricket Competition

Registrations now open for T20 Midweek Cricket A new exciting midweek competition starts next week here in Tauranga. WBOPCA have created a new competition for School teams from all over the BOP to compete in a T20 format to be played during the week. Cricket Awareness Programme for BC Primary Students was a great hit!

BC Cricket Club were delighted to have Don Warner WBOP Cricket Coordinator) run the Cricket Awareness Programme (CAP) for our year 1-2 pupils on Monday 17th September. The boys and girls had a great time learning the fundaments of batting, bowling & fielding. Fingers crossed we’ve unearthed some future Black Caps & White ferns!!!

BC 1st XI win WBOPCA High School Competition

3 Apr 2017 BC 1st X1 were in the final of the college 1st Division and won it yesterday 1 April. BC batted first and got 129 all out in the 41st over then bowled and got Otumoetai Cadets all out for 106 in the 31st over so was great to see the boys win the competition. Our total of 129 runs was disappointing to start however Jonathan McLeay hung in there and managed to score 27 runs
